Job Description

To run specified Service Bureau equipment while at the same time taking a lead role to make production and associate decisions in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

This role will be Night Shift/D Shift, Tuesday - Saturday 9:30pm to 6am.

Responsibilities
  • Run the Service Bureau equipment as has been assigned and trained to do.
  • Provide guidance on jobs to associates in the absence of Supervisor.
  • Work closely with Supervisor to assist with customer required directives, deliveries, changes, emergencies, problems with data and special files by printing accurately and efficiently, minimizing waste and misuse of raw materials. Communicate well with associates, customer service, and the supervisor while performing laser print functions by following daily job schedules. Be familiar with all customers, their special needs, and production schedules to ensure the correct information is communicated.
  • Use ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
  • Ensure all production quality standards are met by sampling, viewing, and checking jobs as they are processed.
  • Help maintain equipment by placing service calls with appropriate service technicians.
  • Maintain all inventory levels and pre‑printed items stored in the warehouse and front shelving units, ensuring they are stacked neatly and in the correct direction.
  • Ensure customer data arrives on time; if not, alert a supervisor so corrective actions can be taken. Follow any other instructions from supervisors or management to complete tasks, including distribution and machine room functions, ensuring objectives are achieved within the allotted time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain regular attendance, a critical function of this position.
  • Comply with applicable company policies concerning a drug‑free workplace.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED; or four years of job‑related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Requirements
  • Standing over two‑thirds of the time daily.
  • Using hands to finger, handle or feel over two‑thirds of the time daily.
  • Reaching with hands and arms.
  • Lifting between 25 lbs and 50 lbs one‑third to two‑thirds of the time daily.
  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) for quality control standards.
Work Environment

The work environment is representative of a manufacturing setting with continuous, high to moderate noise levels requiring hearing protection at all times. Safety glasses and all applicable PPE are required. Exposure to chemicals, inks and coatings requires appropriate PPE when handling.
