• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, social media, communications, journalism, copywriting, or a related role
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences, platforms and content objectives
• Experience developing social media content calendars and managing content scheduling
• Comfortable writing for multiple formats, including social media, websites, articles, sponsored content and more
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, content workflows and stakeholders
• Ability to take complex, technical, or industry-specific information and turn it into clear, useful and engaging content
• Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, content management systems and best practices
• Proactive in identifying content opportunities, improving processes and bringing forward ideas that support stronger storytelling and execution
• SEO experience, including keyword research and on-page optimization, is considered an asset
• Agency and/or agriculture experience is considered a strong asset.
