Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Plastic Surgery

Potter Plastic Surgery and Med Spa and the Allergy Clinic of Western Kansas is seeking a motivated and passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that combines cosmetic and plastic/reconstructive surgery with a full medical spa. Experience in a cosmetic/plastic surgery or dermatology setting is a plus but not necessary.

KS NP License or ability to obtain (Required), DEA License (Required)

United States (Required)

  • Monday thru Friday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm (hours may fluctuate based on patient appointments)
  • 2-3 Saturdays per year for events (In office, health fairs, etc)

Seeking a full time certified Nurse Practitioner to work at a progressive, fast-paced Plastic Surgery practice in Hays, Kansas. Provider will be responsible for providing medical and surgical services both in office and at out-reach locations. Practice provides care for a wide range of services including; hand, wound, reconstruction, and cosmetics, both surgical and non-surgical, to patients of all ages. Candidates should have a strong medical background, patient service skills and experience with electronic medical records.

Prior experience in plastics or dermatology is preferred but not required.

Responsibility
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Consult, create treatment program, provide treatment, assist in the operating room
  • Comfortable advising and advocating for products and services
  • Is comfortable both taking and giving direction

Requirements
  • Permanent employment in a physician-owned private practice setting
  • Autonomy in practicing, with full physician and administrative support
  • Dedicated staff including RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, Clerical, and Billing (on-site)
