- Weekend – $4.00/hour
- Lead – $3.25/hour
- Preceptor – $1.00/hour
- Per Diem – 15% (on base plus steps, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification – $2.00/hour
- Weekend Coordinator Pay (chg) – 15% on regular pay
The Visit RN provides continuity of care by conducting nursing visits for patients as delegated by the Case Manager RN, who remains responsible for overall care planning and coordination. The Visit RN delivers nursing care at the patient’s residence per physician orders and agency policies, and keeps the Case Manager informed about patient progress, recommended actions, and plans for future visits.
Assigned individuals are expected to apply comprehensive knowledge of nursing standards, practice, and problem‑solving skills, making independent decisions in complex scenarios under general supervision. Tasks may involve emergency conditions requiring strenuous exertion (e.g., patient resuscitation at home). The role may involve irregular hours and requires a keen awareness of personal safety. Visit RNs provide on‑call support as assigned and may participate voluntarily in an on‑call rotation.
Education- Associate’s degree required.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one‑year recent experience preferred in home health, acute, or long‑term care.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license required.
- Proof of insurance on automobile used for work required.
- Driving record in compliance with OMC standards currently in effect or as may be amended, required. See HR Policy Driving for OMC Business.
- OMHH issued work cell phone provided.
- Must have computer internet connectivity (OMHH work laptop provided).
- Must have reliable automobile transportation to travel to patient residences.
