Full‑Time Lead Nurse
We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled Registered Nurse to lead a team of health care professionals in our residential treatment facility for behavioral health needs in Topeka, KS.
Day in the Life as a Lead NurseThe Lead Nurse provides oversight and treatment planning for the physical well‑being of children and adolescents receiving residential treatment. Responsibilities include completing nursing assessments, managing medication orders, coordinating and completing health appointments, and ensuring documentation meets federal, state, and program requirements. The Lead Nurse also educates children and families about care, collaborates with a trauma‑informed team, and supports continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- Experience in supervision preferred
- Valid driver’s license and suitable auto insurance for transporting clients
- Eligibility for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing
- Must be at least 21 years old and 3 years older than the oldest resident
- Required to work in‑office and collaborate on a flexible 24/7 schedule with facility administration

Location:

Average hourly rate: $38.14 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.). Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000.
