Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role includes administering treatments, assisting with hygiene, mobility, and daily activities, and monitoring residents' conditions.
Responsibilities- Document care accurately and report changes in residents' conditions to the care team.
- Support admission, discharge, and post-mortem procedures as required by the facility.
- Follow facility policies, maintain resident confidentiality, and foster respectful interactions.
- Valid LPN license and CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and the physical ability to perform essential duties, including lifting and mobility assistance.
- Excellent communication skills and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including the elderly and disabled, in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
