What You'll Do:
- Assist with a variety of orthopedic, ENT, GYN, spine, urology, cataract, and general surgeries
- Prepare operating rooms and assist during surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and proper documentation
- Support postoperative and intraoperative patient care
- Ensure readiness of surgical instruments and supplies
- Float to SPD and assist with instrument sterilization as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care
What You Need:
Required:- Active RN license in Kansas
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum orthopedic experience (Zimmer, Arthrex; total joint and sports med surgeries)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment across multiple surgical specialties
- Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system
- Flexibility to float to SPD and other departments
About the Assignment:
Join a high-volume, orthopedic-focused hospital in Manhattan, KS, performing approximately 20 surgeries daily across multiple specialties. The facility is physician-owned, licensed as a hospital, and values efficiency and proficiency from all team members. Staff are expected to be agile, well-trained in multiple surgical areas, and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
