Medical Surgical (Post-Surgical/Inpatient) RN Manhattan, KS

• License: KS or Multistate license (required)
• Experience: Prior inpatient Med Surg experience preferred

What You ll Do:

• Manage post-surgical inpatient patient care, including monitoring vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Observe for postoperative complications and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team during overnight shifts
• Document patient status accurately and thoroughly
• Respond to emergencies, with physician on-call support
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols and safety standards

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid Kansas or Multistate RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior experience in Med Surg or inpatient surgical units
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently overnight

Preferred:

• Experience working in a similar inpatient setting
• Ability to handle multiple patients efficiently during overnight shifts
