Kansas State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate the role of neurons in monocyte and macrophage activation and antimicrobial responses. The role includes in vivo and in vitro work with mice, isolation and culture of monocytes and macrophages, and infection challenges.
It also covers gene expression analyses and flow cytometry. Preferred candidates have hands-on immunology, molecular biology, and macrophage biology experience, and will contribute to training new lab members
