Assistant Manager – Flynn Panera

Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread. As a decentralized business model each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Assistant Managers help run day‑to‑day operations and support General Managers in their cafes.

Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly cafes that serve baked breads, pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches as well as specialty espresso beverages.

• Provide outstanding leadership to the team; coach and mentor associates through one‑on‑one sessions and performance reviews.
• Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety and manage bakery operations.
• Analyze sales levels and profitability; create and execute plans for sustained profitability.
• Coordinate the entire operation during scheduled shifts; greet customers and ensure their satisfaction.
• Recruit, train and schedule staff to meet staffing par levels; retain and develop associates and managers.
• Serve as the primary resource for resolving associate questions and assist in training for all aspects of food service and customer support.

• At least 2–3 years experience in hospitality management; a degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management is preferred.
• Food management certifications a plus; "Run it Like You Own It" mentality required.
• Strong leadership skills; ability to inspire others, coach, counsel and create a profitable environment.
