About the JobSanofi focuses on developing specialty treatments for debilitating diseases, including rare and immune-related disorders. The Area Business Manager (ABM) will engage Allergists and ENTs, presenting clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue for asthma, CRSwNP, atopic dermatitis, CSU, and EOE indications. The ABM must independently drive performance, meet business goals, and maintain compliance with all Sanofi US policies and pharmaceutical promotion regulations.
MainResponsibilities
- Engage Allergy/Immunology/ENT customers within the assigned geographic territory and deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand share, and achieve product revenue goals for listed indications.
- Collaborate with field-based stakeholders—Regeneron Sales Professionals, Medical Science Liaisons, Reimbursement and Market Access teammates, and Thought Leader Liaisons—to proactively address customer needs, identify market dynamics, and support brand objectives.
- Build strong relationships with immunology experts, allergy/ENT specialists, biologic coordinators, office staff, and patient advocacy groups in the territory.
- Identify key opportunities and develop strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities; maximize the allocated budget to support strategic tactics.
- Lead initiatives to support sales success, including participation in industry congresses, regional meetings, and medical conferences.
- Own business opportunities within the geographic area, coordinating with large group practices and key target accounts to drive product results.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders in the territory to deliver industry-leading customer value.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech sales experience, or equivalent clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product information.
- Strong track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets, adhering to high integrity and compliance standards.
- Team player capable of collaborating with internal partners to achieve common goals.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for meetings, trainings, and programs.
- Must complete required fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Experience selling sub‑cutaneous self‑injectable or office‑administered IV biologics.
- Experience selling asthma or other immunology disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, or ulcerative colitis.
- Experience calling on Allergists and/or ENTs.
- Co‑promotion experience.
- Advanced clinically based selling skills.
- Result‑oriented track record with product launches.
- Experience in servicing and training office staff, nurses, and office managers.
- Passion for science and proactive learning of disease‑state, treatment options, and healthcare trends.
- Highly organized with strong account management skills.
