Full-Time | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Energy Center-Manhattan Pool has been serving homeowners for more than 25 years, designing and building custom in-ground swimming pools throughout the communities we serve.
We are looking for an experienced, relationship-focused Inground Swimming Pool Sales Consultant to guide customers from their initial consultation through the sale and project handoff.
This is a consultative sales position. Rather than simply selling a product, you will help homeowners evaluate their property, priorities, budget, pool options, equipment, and features to develop the right solution for their home. Learn more about us at:
What You'll Do- Meet with prospective customers for on-site consultations
- Understand each customer's goals, property conditions, priorities, and budget
- Recommend appropriate pool types, designs, equipment, features, and upgrades
- Prepare and present detailed estimates, proposals, and contracts
- Clearly explain project scope, pricing, timelines, and next steps
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers throughout the decision-making process
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer communication, and sales pipeline activity
- Coordinate with design, construction, scheduling, and service teams to ensure an accurate project handoff
- Maintain strong customer communication as projects progress
- Develop new opportunities through referrals, networking, community relationships, and prospecting
- Maintain current knowledge of pool products, construction methods, equipment, and industry trends
- Represent Energy Center-Manhattan Pool professionally at customer homes, events, and other business activities
- Previous outside sales or consultative sales experience
- Experience in swimming pools, residential construction, remodeling, home improvement, outdoor living, or a related industry is preferred
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to understand technical information and explain it clearly to homeowners
- Confidence presenting proposals and discussing project costs
- Strong follow-up, organization, and time-management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple prospects at different stages of the sales process
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
- Comfortable using basic computer systems; CRM experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the driving requirements of the position
- Expected Total Compensation: $60,000-$70,000+, based on performance
- Uncapped commission
