What You’ll Do Project Leadership & Execution- Oversee day-to-day operations on assigned job sites
- Supervise internal crews, subcontractors, and vendors
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and site logistics
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Make on-site decisions in the absence of the Project Manager
- Maintain job site safety, security, and cleanliness
- Perform hands-on residential carpentry across all project phases
- Execute layouts and installations based on plans and specifications
- Uphold the highest quality standards
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for homeowners
- Maintain a professional, positive customer experience
- Communicate updates, challenges, and solutions clearly
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Collaborate with Project Managers on scheduling and execution
- Order and manage materials
- Coordinate deliveries and site setup
- Track labor, materials, and project costs
- Support material takeoffs and simple estimates
- Help control waste and inefficiencies
- Maintain daily logs with progress updates and photos
- Use project management software (e.g., Buildertrend)
- Keep job documentation organized and up to date
- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry and related trades
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Experience leading crews and managing job sites
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of residential building codes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical work in all aspects of construction
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Personal set of professional-grade tools
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
