Position: Irrigation Technician I

About This Role

The Irrigation Technician I performs basic repairs, installations, and maintenance for all irrigation systems. Performs preventative and routine maintenance on irrigation systems and assists in irrigation repairs and troubleshooting.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Skill in use and operations of tools, machines and equipment commonly used in plumbing and electrical work at the skilled craft level.
1-3 years of experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance
Institution grounds experience

Additional Role Information

Back flow Certification must be completed within first year of employment.
