Fiber Technician

Are you passionate about telecommunications, fiber networks, and hands‑on technical work? We’re looking for a Fiber Technician who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys solving complex network challenges while working with cutting‑edge technology.

As part of the Network Operations team, you’ll play a key role in keeping critical network infrastructure running smoothly and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot, install, test, and maintain network services (DS0 to OC192) to ensure system uptime and performance
• Work with fiber optic, Ethernet/IP, SONET, and next-gen technologies while installing and testing transmission, switching, and CPE equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, power systems, and electrical infrastructure
• Assist with DC power installations and critical system upgrades
• Identify risks before they impact network performance

• Manage tools, test equipment, and spare inventory
• Track shipments and ensure availability of materials
• Maintain accurate records for asset lifecycle and usage

• Log all work in ticketing systems with detailed notes
• Provide updates, reports, and escalation summaries
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all activities
