Position Summary

Ready to power the future? As an Electro-Mechanical FST, you’ll get hands‑on with cutting‑edge, high‑performance Jenbacher gas engines (0.25-9.5 MW) – supporting critical energy solutions across industries and working with innovative fuel sources like biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, and more.

Essential Functions
  • Perform hands‑on service activities according to engine maintenance protocols (e.g., replacing filters, conducting inspections, taking measurements).
  • Execute minor repairs and address issues beyond planned maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures, analyze historical engine data, and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate with third‑party suppliers as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers—both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate planned service activities and provide maintenance progress updates.
  • Take ownership of assigned sites and customers, proactively working to maximize engine reliability and great customer service.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, including actions taken, materials used, and recommendations for follow‑up.
  • Maintain tools, critical spare parts, and company vehicles in good condition.
  • Complete timesheets, expense reports, EHS forms, and job reports promptly.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Prior field technician experience (automotive, power generation, heavy equipment, ships, aviation or diesel engines).
