- Lead a team of 4–5 third-party Software Engineers
- Establish patterns, best practices, and underlying architectures for the SDP platform
- Implement applications using a microservices architecture style
- Perform code reviews
- Coordinate team work tasks
- Lead requirements analysis and system architecture
- Build database schemas and select the best development approach
- Prepare technical specifications and estimate tasks
- Perform Scrum ceremonies, including planning/grooming and retrospectives
- Mentor team members
- Prepare technical documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Seven or more years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on APIs and system integration
- Prior experience with front-end technologies including Angular, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, and CSS
- Prior experience with back-end technologies including Java 8+, Spring framework (Boot, Security), Hibernate (JPA), SQL, and REST
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of portal software, design, and development
- Experience working with or leading offshore Software Developers
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation
- Organizational skills for prioritization and multitasking
- Ability to work independently with supervision on projects of varying complexity
Demonstrates extensive experience in Software Engineering with a focus on APIs and system integration, alongside strong leadership capabilities in mentoring and coordinating teams. Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a solid understanding of microservices architecture and technical documentation.
