Material Handler

Our team is the backbone of our success, and we are now looking for a Material Handler to join us!
We are seeking a dependable and organized Material Handler to play a vital role in our daily operations. This role involves the efficient handling of materials within our facility and assistance with ensuring timely deliveries to our valued clients. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for providing excellent service, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Pull, stage and load building material products, may include but not limited to (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
- Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck types including semi, box trucks and flat beds
- Assist customers with loading materials
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared
- Assist, when necessary, with hot shot deliveries using 1-Ton, 2-Ton, and Box Trucks
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs in a team lift
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Familiarity with local area
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States
- 18 Years or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain a DOT Med Card
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials
- Forklift operation experience
- Familiarity with WMS Warehouse Management Systems
