Sanctions Consultant

The Sanctions Consultant will play a vital role in supporting the Legal department within the financial services industry. This position focuses on sanctions compliance and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, providing critical expertise to safeguard the business. Client Details A leading global financial institution with a significant international presence, providing a broad range of commercial banking, corporate banking, trade finance, and treasury services to clients worldwide.

Its New York operations play a key role in supporting cross-border business, regulatory compliance, and financial services for multinational organizations. Description Advise on sanctions compliance and regulatory requirements. Review and analyze transactions to ensure adherence to sanctions policies. Conduct research and provide insights on sanctions-related matters. Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues effectively. Assist in the development and implementation of sanctions policies and procedures.

Provide training and guidance on sanctions compliance to relevant stakeholders. Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on the company's operations. Prepare reports and documentation related to sanctions compliance activities. Experience with sanctions compliance in the financial services industry. Specifically has sanctions investigations experience Fluency in Mandarin is a plus, but not required Strong understanding of relevant regulations and legal requirements. Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear recommendations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Job Offer Hourly pay range: $55.00 - $65.00.
