IT Project Manager
Project Manager – Investment Banking
Our Client, a leading independent global investment banking advisory firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support strategic business and technology initiatives within the Global Technology organization. This role will act as the key liaison between front-office stakeholders and technology teams, driving projects from inception through delivery while ensuring alignment, transparency, and execution excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong business-facing project management skills with sufficient technical acumen to partner effectively with engineering teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced investment banking environment.
Specifically, we are looking for someone who has worked on Technical Projects that have been with Azure and/or Data Bricks
- Lead end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects.
- Serve as the primary interface between front-office business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and project governance activities.
- Coordinate across development, infrastructure, data, product, and business teams.
- Prepare executive-level status reports, presentations, and communications.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and escalation points.
- Ensure successful alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership and front-office teams.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, software delivery, and technology project life cycles.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Services, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Trading environment experience.
- Exposure to Data, Reporting, Analytics, or Business Intelligence projects.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, and technical leads.
