Robotics Technician | Manistee, MI
Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Manistee seeking experienced Robotics Technicians. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robots.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
- Install, program, and configure new robotic cells and peripheral equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and develop new applications.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
- Strong understanding of robotic programming languages and teach pendant operations.
- Experience with vision systems, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and other robotic peripherals.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration on robotic systems.
- Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance and inspection.
- Familiarity with various robot programming languages beyond teach pendant operation (e.g., C++, Python, ROS).
- PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrating robots with manufacturing lines.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems and interpret electrical schematics.
