Maintenance Manager | Manistee, MI
Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Manistee region seeking Maintenance Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, ensuring timely availability and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to identify and resolve equipment-related issues, improving overall efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and their implementation
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
- Certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or similar
- CMRP or similar certification in maintenance and reliability.
- Experience implementing and optimizing CMMS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies applied to maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in maintenance.
