Field Service Technician | Manistee, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance) or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and control systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networking protocols.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Certification in a specialized skill relevant to manufacturing equipment (e.g., hydraulics, robotics, advanced electrical).
• Demonstrated ability to train end-users or less experienced technicians on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management and documentation.
• Prior experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., FDA, ISO).
