Calibration Technician | Manistee, MI

Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Manistee region seeking Calibration Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment.
  • Document calibration results, including out-of-tolerance conditions and corrective actions.
  • Interpret and apply technical data from calibration procedures, manuals, and schematics.
  • Maintain calibration standards and ensure their traceability to national or international standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address calibration-related issues.
  • Adhere to quality management system procedures and relevant industry regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Metrology, Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience performing calibrations on a variety of measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3), and measurement uncertainty.
  • Proficiency in using calibration software and creating/mainulating calibration certificates.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
