Plant Manager | Manistee, MI

Salary Range: $136,000 - $187,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled Plant Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations for efficient production.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets and improve efficiency.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Optimize production processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-departmental teams and drive operational efficiency
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and safety standards within a manufacturing environment

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
