Laborer, Industrial Services

GFL Environmental is seeking a reliable Laborer, Industrial Services to support waste management, recycling, and cleanup operations at customer and company sites. In this hands-on role, you'll perform industrial cleaning, material handling, and site housekeeping using hand tools, pressure washers, and basic equipment while following strict safety and environmental procedures. You'll load and unload waste and recyclables, assist operators with set-up and maintenance of industrial service equipment, complete basic documentation, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment with year-round, stable work and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning and waste handling at customer and company sites
• Operate basic industrial service equipment and hand tools safely
• Load, unload, and sort waste and recyclable materials
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental compliance procedures
• Assist with set-up, inspection, and basic maintenance of equipment
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support site housekeeping
• Complete simple logs or paperwork related to jobs and materials handled
• Work effectively with supervisors and crew members in a fast-paced environment
