Salary Range: $19.00 To $22.00 Annually

Pay: $19–$22/hour (flexible based on experience and qualifications)

Skana Aluminum Company is seeking an Accounting Assistant Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This internship is designed for students currently pursuing an Accounting‑related degree who are looking to apply classroom knowledge to real business operations.

This position is being created to provide temporary support during a maternity leave coverage period; however, strong performers may have the opportunity to continue with Skana in another role after the assignment.

• Support bi‑weekly payroll processing
• Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities
• Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) functions
• Help manage customer invoicing
• Provide front desk and administrative coverage as needed
• Support general accounting and office operations

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (typically 2–4 years of schooling)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Comfortable working with numbers and administrative processes
• Experience with ADP and/or Sage
  100 is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred)
