Roncalli Elementary School is a Catholic school serving 3K through fourth grade in Manitowoc,
Wisconsin. Part of Roncalli Catholic Schools, the school is a learning community that serves the

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time 4K teacher to join our team. The ideal
candidate will foster a positive learning environment rooted in faith, academics, and service. This
teacher will support young learners through age-appropriate instruction and play-based learning,
while modeling strong character and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas.

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood curriculum standards.

• Provide both group and individual instruction tailored to varied learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration.

• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

• Fulfill supervisory duties as needed (e.g., lunch, recess).

• Promote a nurturing and orderly classroom environment.

Preferred Knowledge and

Skills:

• Understanding of the Science of Reading.

• Familiarity with the Zones of Regulation.

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

• Ability to use data to guide instructional practices.

• Clear and effective communicator.

• Demonstrates flexibility, collaboration, and a team-oriented mindset.

Education and

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

• Certification or eligibility for certification by the State of Wisconsin in Early Childhood
Education.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency with computers and the Google Suite.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods.

• Able to manage a physically engaging classroom environment.

• Some nights and weekends are involved based on the school calendar and contract
requirements.

• Wages are paid semi-monthly, on the 15th and last day of the month.
