Roncalli Elementary School is a Catholic school serving 3K through fourth grade in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time 4K teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment rooted in faith, academics, and service. This teacher will support young learners through age-appropriate instruction and play-based learning, while modeling strong character and values.

• Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood curriculum standards.
• Provide both group and individual instruction tailored to varied learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Fulfill supervisory duties as needed (e.g., lunch, recess).
• Promote a nurturing and orderly classroom environment.

Understanding of the Science of Reading. Familiarity with the Zones of Regulation. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to use data to guide instructional practices. Clear and effective communicator. Demonstrates flexibility, collaboration, and a team-oriented mindset.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Certification or eligibility for certification by the State of Wisconsin in Early Childhood Education. Proficiency with computers and the Google Suite. Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods. Able to manage a physically engaging classroom environment.

Schedule:

Full-time Some nights and weekends are involved based on the school calendar and contract requirements.

Terms:

Position under contract. Pass a background check. Obtain and stay current with Virtus training. Wages are paid semi-monthly, on the 15th and last day of the month.
