Instructional/Classroom Aide (Part-Time)

Location:

Roncalli Elementary School, 1408 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, WI

Pay: $16/hour

Support teachers in maintaining a safe and positive classroom.

Assist with lesson planning, classroom preparation, and instructional activities.

Prepare teaching materials, activity sheets, and learning aids.

Reinforce lessons through discussions, stories, role-playing, and other activities.

Work with students individually or in small groups to support learning.

Lead classroom activities under teacher guidance.

Communicate with parents when appropriate and in the teacher's absence.

Help guide volunteers, interns, or student workers as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

At least 1 year of related experience.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.

Child supervision and classroom management skills.

Ability to create a supportive, caring learning environment.

Experience preparing instructional materials and activities.

Commitment to encouraging student growth and development.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Climb stairs as needed.

Valid driver's license with no serious violations.

Ability to use a computer or mobile app to log work hours.

Pass a background check.

Complete and maintain Virtus training.

Successfully complete a post-offer physical examination and medical history review.

Employment details:
At-will employment. Semi-monthly pay schedule (15th and last day of each month).
