Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Controls / Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, validation, and customer-facing activities of electronic control systems. The role requires strong hands‑on knowledge of PCB design, embedded firmware, microcontrollers, hardware–software interfaces, and lab support
, along with the ability to support customers and industry trade shows.
This position works closely with cross‑functional teams including firmware, hardware, manufacturing, and field support to ensure robust, secure, and scalable control solutions.
Key Responsibilities Hardware & Controls Engineering- Read, interpret, and review PCB schematics and layouts
, including grounding strategies, signal integrity, and power distribution. - Analyze and support ground paths, noise mitigation, and EMI/EMC best practices in control systems.
- Understand and evaluate low‑voltage and high‑voltage interfaces within embedded control architectures.
- Support interconnectivity across control systems, including wiring harnesses, connectors, pinouts, and data rates.
- Work with microcontrollers and microprocessors used in embedded control platforms.
- Understand and review firmware developed in Assembly, C, C++, and Python
. - Collaborate with firmware teams to debug hardware–software interactions.
- Review and recommend best practices for firmware and hardware security
, including secure boot, access control, and protection against unauthorized access. - Provide EE lab activity support
, including board bring‑up, debugging, validation testing, and failure analysis. - Support component selection and procurement
, including interaction with suppliers and internal purchasing teams. - Assist with prototype builds, validation testing, and design verification activities.
- Provide technical support during customer interactions
, demonstrations, and issue resolution. - Support industry trade shows and events (e.g., NRA, NAFEM), including setup, troubleshooting, and live technical support.
- Act as a technical representative for embedded controls and electronics during external engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
. - Strong understanding of PCB schematics, layouts, and grounding techniques
. - Hands‑on knowledge of microcontrollers/microprocessors and embedded control systems.
- Working knowledge of embedded programming languages

- Familiarity with hardware and firmware security concepts
. - Experience working in an EE lab environment

- Experience supporting manufactured products in production or field environments.
- Exposure to commercial food service, industrial, or appliance controls
. - Familiarity with connectors, wiring harness standards, and data communication protocols
. - Experience supporting customer demos or trade shows

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with firmware, hardware, and manufacturing teams
- Clear communication skills for customer and non‑technical audiences

Pay Range Minimum: $ 92000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 141000 perYear
