We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from initial design and development through manufacturing and evaluation. The ideal candidate is a highly creative problem‑solver with a strong technical background and a passion for turning complex ideas into reality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to design, develop, and test prototypes for mechanical systems and components.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., Solid Works) to create detailed models, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulation, and testing to validate and optimize designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and R&D, to ensure seamless integration and communication.
  • Oversee and provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure all designs meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
  • Estimate project timelines, budgets, and resource needs, and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Conduct failure analysis and recommend design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering, with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (documentation required). Candidates with 2 years of full‑time mechanical engineering experience are exempt from GPA documentation.
  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in Solid Works preferred.
  • Highly analytical mind with exceptional problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • High mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize tooling and equipment configurations.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project‑management skills.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships, influence change, and make quick, accurate decisions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to read, write, and perform calculations.
  • Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including continuous standing/walking and occasionally lifting material up to 50 pounds.
  • Degree must be from a school accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
Location‑Specific Requirements
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR‑controlled technical data, and employment will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to access such data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
