ATSNUC, Inc., an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a Field Calibration Technician to support customers across Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, and Illinois
. This is a 100% field-based role focused on performing on‑site calibrations and minor repairs of laboratory testing equipment used in construction materials testing (concrete, soil, and asphalt).
Nearly all travel occurs during the winter months
, when customer laboratories are not actively testing materials. The summer season is intentionally lighter
, offering flexibility, reduced hours, or time off depending on your availability and goals.
This position is ideal for someone seeking either full‑time, year‑round employment or a seasonal field role with extended summer downtime. Technicians return home most evenings and are always home on weekends

- Perform on‑site calibrations and minor repairs at customer facilities.
- Service lab testing equipment used in construction materials testing.
- Verify equipment accuracy and performance to applicable specifications.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality standards.
- Travel regionally to customer sites during the peak winter season.

- Serve as a professional, knowledgeable representative of ATSNUC during on‑site visits.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and next steps.
- Support basic troubleshooting and help identify opportunities for additional calibration or service work.
- Build strong, long‑term customer relationships in the region.
- Identify process improvements using lean or continuous improvement concepts.
- Provide feedback from the field to help expand ATSNUC’s regional calibration services.
- Partner with leadership and sales by sharing "Voice of the Customer" insights.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical or technical field
- Calibration or minor repair experience strongly preferred
- Experience with dimensional, force, pressure, or thermodynamic systems is a plus
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
- Comfortable working independently in a field environment
