MRI Technologist – Froedtert Holy Family Memorial
Location:
Manitowoc, WI – On site.
Hours:
0.50 FTE (20 hrs). Shift 2: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Tuesday–Wednesday–Thursday. Shared on‑call responsibilities one night per week and on‑call every fourth or fifth weekend (4:30 pm Friday – 6:00 am Monday).
Perform MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist with oversight from a senior MRI technologist. Interact with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Serve as a resource for MRI technical issues, demonstrate competence according to protocols, operate equipment, prepare the scan room and maintain images & patient data archives. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Execute MRI studies following standard procedures.
- Assist in patient preparation and positioning.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain it.
- Ensure safety and compliance with protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and archives.
- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience.
- Graduate of a JCERT-approved radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or MRI program.
- ARRT registered; ARRT‑MR certification required within 18 months of hire.
- BCLS certified within 90 days of hire.
- State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if performing CT or other ionizing radiation imaging; not required for MRI/ultrasound only.
- Successful completion of a cross‑sectional anatomy class (required).
- Proficiency in IV insertion and contrast injection.
- Ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine.
