Schedule Details/Additional InformationRehabilitation Aide working at Aurora Sports Health
- Dewey Street Clinic. This role will be responsible for assisting both physical and occupational outpatient therapists. Anticipated hours are Monday
- Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with flexibility; clinic hours are 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday
- Thursday and 7:00am - 5:30pm Friday.
$20.80 - $31.20
Major ResponsibilitiesAdministration of Therapist/Assistant initiated patient exercise programs
1)
Follows through with therapist-established exercise program per handout.
2)
Demonstrates knowledge in accessing home exercise programs and brochures from SharePoint, as appropriate.
3)
Assists with therapy sessions as instructed by PT/PTA/OT/COTA.
4)
Follows through with therapists’ guidelines on ROM exercises.
5)
Communicates with nursing and other staff regarding therapy-related information, as instructed by the therapists. Prepares and assists therapists with wound management, and perform appropriate set‑ups of Woundcare equipment.
1)
Perform thorough and safe set‑up of Woundcare equipments, both woundvac and pulsatile lavage.
2)
Assist therapist with the process as instructed in applying
