Job type:
On-site, Full time (FTE 1.00). Standard hours 40 per week.

Shift: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday–Friday. Weeknight on‑call: typically one night per week. Holiday on‑call: one or two per year. Weekend on‑call: 5:00 pm Friday – 7:00 am Monday, typically every fourth weekend.

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.

This triple‑modality sonographer (Echo, Vascular, Ultrasound) is responsible for performing imaging techniques across all areas:
Ultrasound (OB/Gyn, abdominal, small parts, breast, invasive, intra‑operative), Vascular (carotid flow studies, abdominal and peripheral vascular exams), and Echocardiography (TTE, contrast, TEE, stress echo). The role includes 24/7 coverage and rotating call, and provides guidance to sonography students.

Education:

Graduate in a program accredited by CHEA/USDOE/CMA accredited agency for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, or Vascular Technology. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography preferred.

Experience:

Graduate or minimum of one year of current clinical US experience with completion of all required registries (RDMS in AB, OB/GYN,  ), RVT, and RDCS or RCS.

Special

Skills:

Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry acceptable. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and basic patient care equipment. Familiarity with McKesson PACS and Epic EMR preferred.

Licensure:
Registered in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), Breast (BR), Vascular (RVT), and Adult Cardiac (RDCS or RCS). AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
