Our Manitowoc, WI manufacturing client is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join their team. This role is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys connecting with people, building talent pipelines, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will lead recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions while assisting with onboarding, staffing coordination, and administrative HR functions. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite position that offers a very competitive salary and benefits package.
Recruiter Responsibilities:- Source, recruit, and screen candidates using job boards, databases, social media, and other recruiting channels
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to identify qualified candidates
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly and exempt positions, from sourcing through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recommend qualified candidates
- Coordinate job postings, employment advertising, job fairs, and other recruiting initiatives
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientations, transfers, and promotions while maintaining hiring documentation
- Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout the hiring process and promote a positive candidate experience
- Collaborate with temporary staffing agencies to support workforce needs and track temporary-to-hire conversions
- Maintain recruiting reports, employee records, and compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Provide administrative support for HR systems, training activities, receptionist coverage, and other HR projects as needed
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of recruiting experience for hourly manufacturing positions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and HRIS/ATS software
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with timekeeping or HRIS systems preferred
- Experience partnering with temporary staffing agencies a plus
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
