Harbor View Assisted Living, Meadow View Assisted Living, and Scandinavian Court Assisted Living are seeking an experienced Community Administrator to lead our senior living communities and create an environment where residents, families, and employees feel valued, supported, and  this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the community, champion a resident-centered culture, ensure regulatory compliance, support financial success, and inspire a team committed to providing outstanding care and service.

What You'll Do:

Lead Community Operations Oversee day-to-day community operations to ensure exceptional resident care and service.

Develop and support department leaders in achieving operational, clinical, and financial goals.

Foster a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and service excellence.

Serve as the primary point of leadership for residents, families, employees, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Ensure the community remains safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Support Resident Satisfaction & Quality Care Promote a resident-focused environment that values dignity, independence, choice, and quality of life.

Collaborate with clinical and support teams to ensure resident needs are met.

Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.

Drive continuous improvements based on resident feedback and quality outcomes.

Ensure Compliance & Risk Management Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Lead survey, licensing, and audit readiness efforts.

Oversee safety, emergency preparedness, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.

Ensure timely investigation and resolution of incidents and concerns.

Drive Financial & Operational Success Monitor occupancy, census, labor, revenue, and expenses.

Partner with sales and marketing teams to support community growth.

Identify operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional resident experiences.

Utilize financial data and metrics to guide strategic decision-making.

Build and Develop High-Performing Teams Recruit, hire, coach, and retain talented team members.

Provide leadership, accountability, and professional development for department leaders.

Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention efforts.

Ensure compliance with training, certification, and continuing education requirements.

What We're Looking For:

Preferred Qualifications Active Assisted Living/Community Administrator License strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Gerontology, Nursing, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, healthcare, hospitality, or a related service industry.

Demonstrated success managing operations, budgets, staffing, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Preferred Certifications Candidates with the following active CBRF certifications are strongly preferred:

Standard Precautions Fire Safety First Aid & Choking Medication Administration Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and team development skills.

Knowledge of senior living regulations and compliance requirements.

Financial management and budgeting experience.

Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and senior living management systems.
