Our entry level Hose Bonding Assembler starts at $19.46 an hour. In addition to wages, our team members also receive quarterly bonuses, set by company growth and quality goals. This is 2.5%-10% of annual earnings! We also have an annual perfect attendance bonus of $1,250!

Schedule and Location

We are located at 1717 Dufek Drive in Manitowoc, WI. First shift hours are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday, with a flexible overtime schedule when voluntary or required. Our facility is environmentally controlled 365 days a year. That means team members are comfortable year-round, working in air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter!

Position Summary

The Hose Bonding & Assembly Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the synthetic hose welder, hose respool equipment and assembly equipment according to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Must use judgement and make decisions for appropriate feeds and temperature settings to achieve proper welds and cutoffs.
  • Utilize test equipment to ensure quality in the Department.
  • Must operate crimpers and assembly product according to specifications.
  • Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continual basis to meet plant business objectives.
  • Participate in area or process team activities and projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Leader.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency required
  • Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Mathematical aptitude and proficiency
  • Keyboarding skills, with some knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to operate manual and electric jack;
    Company will train
  • Measurement skills, including use of precision measuring tools and equipment
  • Attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvement
  • Effective verbal communication and listening skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Successful prioritizing and management of work projects
  • Physical Requirements

    Our manufacturing positions have several minimum physical requirements to ensure safety and effective job performance, including:

      Ability to stand for 8+ hours during a shift.
