JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Job Posting Title Machinist - 2nd Shift Description Overview:
The Machinist is responsible for running multiple CNC machines efficiently. In order to ensure proper function, machinist review equipment regularly to report any equipment malfunctions, tooling issues, conduct general maintenance tasks while following all safety precautions. This is position is for a 2nd Shift (M-Th 3pm-1am) Machinist to work in our Manitowoc, WI location. Come join the team of 100% employee owners in a fun, fast-paced environment.

• Setup and operate CNC Horizontal machining centers.
• Load and unload work fixtures, devices, tools and programs.
• Adjust cutting tools, as required.
• Follow standard work processes and record data.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associates Degree or certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience running CNC Horizontal machining centers.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Strong communication skills.
• Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
• Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
• Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
• Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Associates Degree or Certification Preferred. 3-5 Years Of Experience Running CNC Horizontal machining centers. Strong mechanical abilities. Ability to read Blueprints. Strong computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members. Strong communication skills.
