Position Summary
This Machine Operator position is in our Hytron Yarn Braiding Department. Our Yarn Braider & Winder Operators are responsible for the set-up and operation of all yarn twisters, winders and braiders. This is a 2nd shift position. 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm. Starting pay is $19.46/hr with an extra $2/hour shift premium.

Education, Training and Experience
- Required HS diploma or GED
- Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Mathematical aptitude and proficiency
- Keyboarding skills, with some knowledge of MS Office software
- Ability to operate forklift and manual and electric jack;
Company will train - Measurement skills, including use of precision measuring tools and equipment
- Attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvement
- Effective English verbal communication and listening skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Successful prioritizing and management of work projects
Physical Demands
Our manufacturing positions have several minimum physical requirements to ensure safety and effective job performance, including:
- Standing:
Ability to stand for 8+ hours during a shift. - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Ability to wear required PPE such as safety shoes, eye protection (glasses/goggles), hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves. - Repetitive Motions:
Frequent use of hands for tasks such as using safety scissors, bending tubing, taping tube, and connecting hose assemblies. - Sorting:
Ability to sort items by size, shape, and color. - Physical Movements:
Includes pushing, pulling, kneeling, and squatting as part of daily duties. - Lifting:
