- Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.
- Ensures that the workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
- Maintains an open line of communication with all employees.
- Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
- Cleans equipment and performs general housekeeping of line.
- Removes faulty assembled poly bags from assembly line.
- Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.
- Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
- Sets up box former, keeps full of boxes, attends to glue pot and replenish.
- Oversees robot pickers and robot palletizers, chooses recipes, adjusts belting for box changes.
- Sets up and adjusts box taper and sticker machine, ensures proper performance and material used/printed.
- Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
- Adheres to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors on equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic math function.
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
- Safety mindset.
