10:00 pm - 06:00 am Let QPS help you get your foot in the door! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Trimmer at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 3rd shift, apply today!
- Primary expectation is to trim/deburr plastic parts.
- Inspects and reviews plastic parts right after they are molded to make sure that there are no defects in the parts.
- Uses a variety of hand tools and power equipment to perform necessary trimming parts to meet the part specifications including heat gun, scraper, etc.
- Properly identifies and prevents defective parts from being used.
- Provides coverage for Machine Operator
- Ensures that parts are in accordance with customer and qualify specifications, while maintaining an appropriate production pace.
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Prior production experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions
- Safety Awareness-Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required
- Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving
- High attention to detail
- Ability to perform simple math and measurements
