Position Summary
Perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of all equipment in the plant. Handle and maintain plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building processes
Responsibilities- Continue to keep current in skills through training, classes and on the job training
- Requires the ability to do visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part
- Required to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, prioritizing orders, printing ship-sets, etc.
- Be capable of scheduling and prioritizing orders to meet customer demand and on-time delivery.
- Be able to set-up and operate all Eagle Cell equipment
- Automated Crimper
- O-ring Assembly
- Manual Crimper
- Ink Jet Printer
- Shell Press
- Wire Lock
- SMED 1
- Packing and Labeling Systems
- Actively participate in department team projects and activities
- Other duties may be assigned at a later time
- Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately.
- Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
- High School diploma or GED
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Sound decision making skills
- Good math, reading and writing skills
- Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual and audio attention
