Machine Operator – This role is responsible for operating rotational molding machines under the supervision of operations leadership. The operator monitors and ensures quality of plastic parts after demolding to meet specified standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate the rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale/Inventory.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the planned maintenance charts.
  • Execute material filling, deburring, molding, bench operations, and product inspection tasks.
  • Work at a pace that meets company expectations for parts per hour or minutes per part as quoted to customers.
  • Accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance regarding machine setup.

Required &

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED (preferred).
  • Experience: Prior rotational molding experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certificates: None required.
  • Technology: Ability to use computer platforms to access work instructions.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Constant standing and walking; climbing stairs frequently.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crouching, or reaching above shoulders may be required.
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists on both large and small items, e.g., screws, bolts, nuts to service molds.
  • Continuous focus for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of 15–25 lbs.; occasional lifting of 20–40 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity required for normal day‑to‑day functions.
  • Patience and calm professional demeanor under challenging conditions.
  • Work with and around others with personal protective equipment as required.
Working Environment

The main working environment is a standard manufacturing plant. Climate controlled in some areas; exposure to heat and hot surfaces, cold, noise, and odors. Personal protective equipment required in appropriate areas. Intermittent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, and tool vibration may occur.
