Trainer – 2nd Shift

Production Trainer (2nd Shift) – Manitowoc, WI (On-Site)

Do you enjoy helping people learn, succeed, and feel welcomed on day one? We're hiring a Production Trainer to onboard and train new team members in a fast-paced production environment—while also jumping in on the line when training needs are light.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Full-time: 40 hours/week

Pay:

• $24.50/hour

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and support new hires on their first day (introductions, quick facility tour, basic expectations)
• Train new employees on production line positions (assembly/line support/standard work)
• Assign mentors and check in with new hires throughout the shift
• Complete and maintain training documentation
• Train on safety, housekeeping expectations, and emergency stop awareness
• Train on quality procedures and cGMP practices
• Train on timekeeping and labor tracking systems
• Perform production line work when not actively training
• May provide backup support to the Production Supervisor as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of trainer experience in a production/manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
• Strong communication skills; personable and team-oriented

Physical/Work Environment:

• Standing/walking for full shift; frequent reaching/handling
• Lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Palletizing and handling cartons; some lifting may be overhead
• Work near moving machinery; moderate to loud noise at times
• Exposure to chemicals; PPE required for certain tasks (as specified)
