Change Over Crew – 3rd Shift

Schedule:
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Sun–Thurs) Pay: $25.50/hour - $23.00/hour + $2.50/hour shift premium
If you like hands-on mechanical work and take pride in keeping production lines running smoothly, this 3rd shift Changeover Crew role could be a great fit. You'll support fast, safe line changeovers, startups, washouts/sanitation, and basic preventive maintenance in a busy manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do- Complete production line changeovers safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Support line setups/startups to meet quality specs and standard run speeds (BPM)
- Perform washouts plus pre- and post-run sanitization
- Respond quickly to line shutdowns and provide mechanical troubleshooting/support
- Repair production equipment as needed and help reduce changeover time
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Partner with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment, methods, and consistency
- Support new product and packaging startups as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Basic mechanical aptitude / comfortable using hand & power tools
- 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred (not required)
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work self-directed
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Frequent standing/walking; regular use of hands/wrists for tools, bolts, screws, etc.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and reach overhead at times
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; lighter lifting more frequently
- Manufacturing environment may include wet floors, moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles, loud noise, and occasional exposure to chemicals or electrical hazards
- PPE required (examples may include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, face shield/mask, hairnet, rubber boots for washouts)
- Consistent full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
- Strong hands-on role with variety—changeovers, troubleshooting, and improvement opportunities
- Great fit for someone who enjoys fast-paced production support and mechanical problem-solving
