Production Material Handler
Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) | Manitowoc, WI1st Shift, Monday
- Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Keep a manufacturing floor moving, and you'll never run out of work that matters. We're looking for a dependable Production Material Handler to keep materials, components, and finished goods flowing through our facility - the kind of person who takes ownership and works safely.
What You'll Do- Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Stage materials and components at work centers to support production
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks using proper procedures
- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and organize materials in designated locations
- Prepare and package finished products for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
- Complete inventory, shipping, and production-related documentation and data entry
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (we'll help you get there)
- Comfort working around machinery, noise, and typical manufacturing conditions. You will be exposed to external elements while loading and unloading trucks
- Put safety first, every time
- Are dependable and follow through on assignments without close supervision
- Take ownership of keeping production supplied
- Pay close attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Can prioritize changing demands throughout the day
- Are energized, not drained, by a fast-paced production floor
