WhatYou'll Do
As a QA Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with production teams, you'll perform testing, monitor product quality, and make important release decisions that protect our brand and our customers. Key Responsibilities- Perform quality testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Monitor production quality and support corrective actions by identifying issues and making timely decisions to maintain product integrity.
- Disposition products and inventory through approval of products, packaging, labels, and hold/release activities.
- Follow quality systems, procedures, and customer requirements while partnering with production teams to ensure consistent, high-quality products.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's Degree, College Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
- Experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or a regulated production environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, aseptic techniques, FCC/USP/ASTA testing methods, or related quality systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
The hiring range for this position is $27.00-$29.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
