** Set Up Machinist | 2nd Shift | Manitowoc, WI*
* ** Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M)

** 3 PM – 1 AM, Monday–Thursday. Every weekend is a 3-day weekend. $25+/hr, based on experience.
** You didn't get into this trade to babysit a machine — you got into it to dial in a setup nobody else can, solve the problem on the fly, and hand over a part that's dead-on spec. If that's you, keep reading.
** What you'll be doing:
*** Setting up CNC machining centers from blueprint to first good part — not just hitting cycle start
* Building and modifying toolpaths
* Optimizing tooling, feeds, and speeds
* Reading blueprints and process sheets and catching issues before they become problems
* Troubleshooting setups on the fly when something's not cutting right
* Working directly with engineers on tooling and design improvements
